May is the best month.  

And that’s a pretty good list for summer movie season.  

I loved it.  I cried three times in the movie and the first two happened within the first 15 minutes.

If you haven’t seen it, are planning on seeing it, or have never read the books, then stop reading right now.

Still with me?  Here we go then:

T_T #1:  When Hermione had to erase herself from her parents’ memory.  The way it was done and Emma Watson’s acting was SO GOOD.

T_T #2: I knew it was going to happen but ahhhhhh when Hedwig died.  I think it takes on a grander feeling when you’ve read the books.  You see how much Hedwig really, really loved and protected Harry throughout the series.  WAH.

T_T #3: Dobby.  It looked and felt perfect.  DOBBBYYYY.

And now here are some general thoughts and musings

- The movies never fully explained what the purpose was of the mirror that Sirius gave to Harry did they?  They’re probably going to do it in the latter half of the movie.

- They should have kept the part in the beginning when Dudley and Harry say goodbye.  

- Also…I felt cheated during the Godric’s Hollow scene.  I was looking forward to seeing the memorial and then the signs of encouragement that people left for Harry.  It was a favorite of mine.

-  The explanation of the Deathly Hallows was EXCELLENT.

- I didn’t like that the situation with Kreacher didn’t change.  I was also looking forward to him being nice to them and getting them loads and loads of food.  :)

- HE DIDN’T FIND LILY’S LETTER IN SIRIUS’S ROOM!  It’s so important!!!  And it wasn’t as Gryffindor-ed out as I was expecting.

-  The DOE!!! OMG the DOE.

- Ron’s fear with Hermione and Harry…lol OMG.

- All in all, I really did love it.  It’s completely dark and a near perfect adaptation.  It’s definitely NOT a children’s movie anymore and I’m looking forward to the 2nd part.  I just don’t know if i can wait that long!! ARGH.
